In this module, we’re going to talk about communicating and discussing within the Canvas environment.
Communicating with students is a critical part of teaching and learning. Even if you have a face to face course, you will likely want or need to communicate with students virtually at various points.
To help facilitate communication with students throughout the term, Canvas offers a suite of communication tools including

Canvas has a few different options for communicating with your students, so it’s important to understand which communication tool will best serve your purpose:

- Use conversations (Links to an external site.) when you want to communicate with a group, an individual student, or group of students
