chime
wind blows through my bones,
i think i am healed.
baptism in the clear pine-filtered air,
fresh off the lake
where my childhood rests.
i know that the wind off Heaven can’t reach
my soul where i am planted
this far away.
so i became one with the dandelion cotton
floating up and through.
