introduction

In high school there was a unit in my freshman-year English class devoted to poetry. Ever since then I have been creating and wrestling with difficult concepts in my life using my favorite medium: words. It wasn’t until I transferred universities and ended up exactly where I am now that I learned I never have to give this up. No, I can keep creating the things I love and sharing them with the world. So, here we are, with a collection of poems documenting my journey with religion throughout my time as a young adult. Is there a God? There isn’t an answer only more questions. And of course more poems to write. But I do know that the sun will get warm again, and really, it doesn’t matter all that much.
