14.1 Tuning in to Your Eating Patterns

Eating nutritiously starts with building an awareness around the reasons behind why and when we eat. Listening to hunger and satiety cues and eating mindfully can help ensure we fuel our bodies with the foods it needs. By acknowledging and addressing the barriers that keep us from eating regularly and adequately, we can better meet our energy needs and honor personal preferences, traditions, and values around food.
