I only know the midwest,

I dream to know the world.

Time spent on the coast inspires me to pack up my things, Start a new journey.

Much like my distant relatives packing up and moving to America, I will be the first to start something new.

I will give my future grandkids a new story to tell.

Where will I go?

I dream of the serenity I see in Spain,

The mosaic water of the Mediterranean.

Or the beautiful landscape of the Pacific Islands.

I will always have my first home,

Which I will forever love.

Soon.

Soon I will begin my own migration,

To another place I can call home.
