28 Integrate your book into Canvas

There are a couple of ways you can put Pressbooks content into your Canvas course page. The easiest way is to simply copy the link for a book or a specific chapter and put that link into a Canvas module or page. Students will then be able to click the link(s) to open a specific book or chapter outside of Canvas.

There is also a way to more fully integrate your book by importing the content directly into your Canvas course. This is done by using the Common Cartridge (Web-links) 1.1 option in the Export menu for your book. The content of your book will then display within your Canvas course, giving students a more seamless experience and keeping them in your course site.
