Proper Walking Etiquette

• Where to Walk: most horses are used to being lead from the left side (most people are right handed)
• Holding the Rope: leave about 1-2feet of relaxed rope between you and the horse
• Horse Handling:
  • Goal: to correct little things before they become big things and catch problems early
  • Stay out of Danger Zone under the neck of the horse
  • Watch your feet
