Work

A horse that has a job and are helping their owners make a living.  These horses may pull a plow, pull a buggy, pull logs, or patrol a city along with many other things.

PLEASURE

Horse that is ridden more lightly for pleasure or sport.  These horses are kept as pasture pets, trail riding partners, athletes competing is various disciplines.  Sometimes the pleasure aspect may cross over into the work side as someone may train pleasure horses to make a living.
