About the Author

Brian Gibbens is an Teaching Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota. His interests include DEIJ, student mental health, critical and creative thinking, scientific writing, and the nature of science. Brian is also an advocate for science and evidence-based decision making. He enjoys wild-life photography and hunting for fossils in his spare time. He currently lives in Minnesota with his wife and two kids.
